Washing instructions and product materials

What materials are used in our products?
All fabrics used in cozyfix products are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, meaning they have been independently tested and verified to be free from harmful substances.

Washing removable covers
The cozyfix nursing pillow comes with removable covers that can be machine washed. Follow the care instructions on the label carefully. Generally, covers can be washed at 40°c in cold or warm water using a mild detergent. Do not use bleach, harsh chemicals, or fabric softeners, as these may damage the fabric.

Important – do not wash the foam
The foam core of your nursing pillow is not designed to be washed. The removable cover protects the foam from most dirt and spills. If the foam requires cleaning, follow these steps to ensure it is done safely:

Spot clean the foam:

Identify stains: Check occasionally for visible stains or any spots that may have seeped through the cover.

Prepare cleaning solution: Mix a small amount of mild detergent with warm water, ensuring it is well diluted.

Dampen cloth or sponge: Dip a soft cloth or sponge into the solution and wring out excess water so it is damp, not soaked.

Clean the foam gently: Lightly wash the stained areas using gentle, circular motions. Avoid pressing too hard to prevent moisture from penetrating the foam.

Blot excess moisture: Use a dry towel to absorb remaining moisture. Press gently against cleaned areas.

Air dry completely: Place the foam in a well-ventilated area on a flat surface. Do not expose to direct sunlight or heat sources. Ensure the foam is fully dry before reassembling the pillow to prevent mold or mildew growth.
